Are you involved in developing your own products?
You may be making it so much more complex than it needs to be.
Like Bill: let me give you his example.
So, Bill feels that he needs to source freelance experts to assist in parts of his product development, a concept design or CAD design or a market researcher, Subject matter expert, a prototyping facility, a patent attorney – a few possibilities spring to mind.
Bill felt that it would be cheaper than taking on additional staff. He felt that he didn’t have enough resources in-house. He felt it would be quicker than training his own staff. He felt that he could quickly find someone on one of these global platforms to fill the gap.
Bill found that person. He found that they were very capable. But Bill also found that he lost a lot of time trying people until he found the right person among the millions available. He found there was no sense of urgency with them. He found that they consistently delivered inconsistently. He found that what seemed low-cost initially was starting to turn out expensive and difficult and control.
He found that accounts were complaining about the untraceable billing methods. He found that they can only work remotely and therefore very detached from his company’s purpose. Bill found himself going round in circles and frustrated with a lack of progress. Don’t be like Bill, be smart, clicking the link above and below form a partnership with a company that you can trust. Just saying.
